    Yes, Bane was indeed right.
I’m just surprised more people don’t figure out the “sociopath” option, especially in light of all the craziness surrounding them (not to mention how often others disappoint them).
Keep a tight circle of family and friends. Allow others inside with a healthy amount of skepticism.

  • Oh, Bane was spot on with that one. Being somewhat sociopathic myself, I find it much easier to withdraw. Such is the battle, I guess.

  • Doom

Until it’s not. It may take days, weeks, months, or years… but at some point you have to look at the pile of bones and smell the stench. There is something you can never quite wash off. Christ cleansed, but I smell it still… it’s in the flesh if the soul is working toward good, has been handed to God actually.

Just suggesting a little care and wisdom might be… useful… before choosing that path. But when all else fails, enjoy the carnage. Just try, try, not to relish it a little too much.

Giving in is always easier than walking tall.

  • “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Whatever it is, He’ll lead you through it.

  • Selective sociopathy. I like it. 🙂

    Easier. More honorable? More righteous?

Not necessarily. Although a healthy dose of caution goes a long way when dealing with folks outside the home, y’know?

What do you do when it’s family?

  • The sociopathic route is not the one our Father wants me to take, that’s for sure. That’s been made clear too me. I was being somewhat self-pitying there. I’ve been trying the ‘too hard’ card, and it ain’t workin’. 🙂

  • also, it’s more fun.
