Poetry

Bigger

April 19, 2010

I’m stretching on tiptoes
To sneak a timid peek
At the magic and the mystery of
A Plan bigger than me

I’m hoping beyond hope
That what and Who I seek
Is Benevolent, Omniscient
And bigger than me

The road stretched behind me
Worn down by tired feet
Keeps twisting and turning
Farther than I can see.

And all this reaching, this looking
This needing to breathe
In a wide open space
Filled with stillness & peace

Is beyond what I can do
Beyond all I can be
When I’m stretched to my limits
In Hands bigger than me.

I love this poem. Look what Father is bringing out of the fabric of your life right now! He is so awesome! You could not write this if you weren’t walking the path you are right now.

    Love and shalom,
    Serena
