That’s all.  We now return to regular programming… Heroes is awesome, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles RAWKS and NCIS is just the coolest crime drama show out there.   Gonna watch Heath Ledger’s swan song, Darkest Knight tonight.  What  a waste.

    Life is so much fun!!!!!

  • Gonna watch Heath Ledger’s swan song, Darkest Knight tonight. What a waste.

Were you referring to Heath or your evening?

I wish I had gotten here in time to warn you. Now Heath’s life and your evening have both been wasted.

At the same time, I’m pretty sure I don’t know what “swan song” even means, but Heath made a lot of unfortunate choices in his life both personally and professionally. Don’t misunderstand. I’m neither judging or condemning him.

Just the opposite. I think Heath Ledger was an amazing actor and it’s a damn shame that he’ll be remembered for all the things that diminished him.

He was at his peak in “The Patriot.” Had he lived longer that might not have been true. On the other hand, the downside might have gotten even worse. He clearly didn’t know how to pick a role.

  • The evening was saved by the company I keep! Heath’s performance was creepy and dark which I guess makes for Oscar’s nowadays. Inspired? Maybe but I think I know where that came from. Ick.

The movie wasn’t as good as the first Bale installment.

And “swan song” means…The phrase “swan song” is a reference to an ancient belief that the Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) is completely mute during its lifetime until the moment just before it dies, when it sings one beautiful song.Tennyson, “The Dying Swan…

If only Heath had been mute until now and spared us all that awful Humpback Mountain movie!

Good to see you around Cowboy… Just checked your blog and have to wish you a very merry X-mas full of yule logs, Wiccans and jolly fat men in red suits.

  • Keeping good company is definitely important.

I’ve been away from here for a while. Do you redecorate every day or did I just have perfect timing?

  • I redecorate often… But this was a good day to show up. 🙂
